This training package provides specific information about adopting through Waiting Children programs. The package includes general information about waiting children, medical needs as well as adopting an older child and adopting two children at the same time.

The intent is to provide the opportunity for families to explore this as an option and prepare for the challenges and differences. This course provides 1.5 hours of adoption training Upon review of this course, families will complete a brief Q and A in order to receive a course completion certificate.

The purpose this online course is to provide prospective adoptive parents with information on and preparation for adopting a child through a Waiting Child (or Special Needs) program. This course will provide information on the general characteristics and needs of children awaiting adoption, medical descriptions of the needs and resources and information to consider when adoption a Waiting Child. This course provides families with 2 hours of Hague Parent Education Training. Upon review of this course, families will complete a brief Q and A in order to receive a course completion certificate.
